All Day Elopement Timeline Example…..

You may be asking yourself… Do I really need all day photo coverage for my elopement?

The answer may surprise you.

Having all-day photo coverage is one of the most stress-free routes when it comes to creating your elopement timeline. The biggest reason being, you don’t have to worry about cramming in all of your wedding day activities into a small time-frame, and you are actually able to take your time throughout your day and do things at your own pace.

Here are some of the Pro’s of having all-day coverage:

  • There’s no worry about certain aspects of your day not being documented
  • You don’t have to squeeze everything into one small timeline.
  • You get to focus on what’s most important on this day: you & your partner!!

There are many activities and things to do on your wedding day as a couple that don’t just involved saying the vows and getting married, believe it or not. You can spend your morning together getting ready, going for a stroll in the fall foliage, going kayaking, maybe even a helicopter tour of the location you’re staying in. The options are honestly endless. Wouldn’t it be cool if your photographer tagged along with you for the entire day and got photos of it all?

You deserve to remember just as much of your day as any couple having a traditional wedding day. YOUR ELOPEMENT DAY MATTERS. That is why I’m a huge advocate for an all-day elopement, and why all of my elopement packages come with an extensive amount of coverage. This day is going to be EPIC.

Now here is an example of how an all day elopement timeline could work:

  • 9:00 am: Share a stack of pancakes together at Airbnb
  • 10:00 am: Take a morning bike ride, or a walk, find a quiet place & write your vows
  • 10:30 am: Photograph details, attire, and Airbnb
  • 11:00 am: Soak in the tub with morning light OR have a sexy photo session 😉
  • 12:00 pm: Getting ready (you can get ready together or separately – both are great options!!)
  • 12:30 pm: Individual portraits
  • 1:00 pm: Couple’s portraits
  • 1:45 pm: Final touch ups
  • 2:00 pm: Head to adventure spot
  • 3:00 pm: Begin hike/walk/helicopter to ceremony area
  • 4:00 pm: Read personal vows to each other in meadow
  • 5:00 pm: Ceremony right before sunset with just the two of you
  • 5:30 pm: Sunset
  • 6:00 pm: Hike back with headlamps or lanterns
  • 7:00 pm: Blue hour/quality time portraits, head back to Airbnb
  • 8:00 pm: You order take out or have a private chef cook you a meal in your Airbnb
  • 8:30 pm: Enjoy drinks while eating, cut cake, play cards
  • 9:00 pm: Photography coverage ends

Doesn’t this day sound full of fun? Now wouldn’t it be cool if you had photos from all of these little moments, to truly encompass your entire elopement experience?

You should book all day photography coverage for your elopement. You won’t regret it.
