My goal as your wedding photographer is not just to deliver beautiful images that you can cherish forever, but to also provide an unforgettable and seamless experience.
I've compounded everything I've learned over the last couple of years here in this blog, so that you have the resources you need to have the most amazing wedding day that you are so deserving of.
Check out this Micro-wedding at The Inn at Jennifer’s Gardens in Austin, Texas!
Earlier this month, I got the opportunity to photograph a Microwedding in Austin Texas. Catrina and Marcus chose The Inn at Jennifer’s Gardens, right in the city center of Texas’ capital.
If you’ve never heard of Jennifer’s Gardens, and are located in the Austin or surrounding areas, I definitely recommend you check it out! It’s not a huge venue, but it’s perfect for a gathering of 30-40 people. The venue is mostly outdoors, so take that into consideration when planning your event! These Texas summers can get super hot.
When you first walk in, you are greeting with the beautiful entryway of lush plants and gardens (surprise), and large wooden doors surrounded by mosaic tiles. To your left, there is also a perfect size courtyard to have a long table for your reception. The area is covered with string lights, so at night, you just know it would be beautiful. This wedding in particular was in the afternoon, and was a lunch-style reception!
You Can Stay On Site
One thing I love about this venue, is that there are rooms on-site where you are actually able to spend the night, and even weekend in. These rooms are beautifully decorated so they make for great spaces for your getting ready photos. Because Catrina and Marcus flew in from California for their event, it was perfect.
In addition to there being a great indoor space, there is also so many beautiful corners right outside where you can take photos as well. The ceremony site is in a beautiful lawn, right down the stairs from the courtyard, and is surrounded by trees and greenery. There really was a perfect mixture or outdoors and architecture for photos.
In Conclusion
Guests were able to walk around comfortably, drink, snack, and even had a space inside the main building for toasts and a cake cutting. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a microwedding in Austin Texas!
